> In recent years, many regions across the globe have been experiencing unusually prolonged rainfall—sometimes lasting one to two months beyond seasonal norms. While rain is generally seen as a blessing, excessive rainfall has led to destruction: collapsing homes, ruined crops, and flash floods.

We seek refuge in Allah from the harm of excessive rain.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ foretold:

“The Hour will not be established until there is abundant rainfall, such that mud houses will collapse while houses made of wool will remain standing.”

In another narration:

“The Hour will not be established until people experience widespread rain, but the earth will not produce any crops.”

Naturally, rain brings fertility to the earth. But before the end of times, nature will turn upside down—there will be rain, but no harvest. This points to a deeper imbalance, both ecological and spiritual.
